Description

These are super fluorite crystals forming a plate – transparent and sharp. They are complex, exhibiting four crystal forms – dodecahedron, octahedron, cube and trapezohedron. The octahedral faces are slightly frosty, and the others are all glassy and lustrous, the frosted ones are a really nice offset. The trapezohedral faces are exhibited as four “bevels” surrounding each dodecahedral face. These fluorite crystals are colourless, and there is a thin feather of iron colouring in one place, so depending on how it is displayed and lit, it can appear colourless, or some of the crystals can have a more golden appearance if one prefers. Note the three crystals on the left-hand side are partial, incomplete at the back. In excellent condition, no damage to the display side.  A great specimen, looks beautiful under the lights.
