Detailed Description

This piece features a group of interconnected, sharp, complex crystals of bournonite – these are great crystals! The bournonites have a subtle patina with various hues. There are small quartz crystals and siderite crystals in assocition. In excellent condition. A really nice bournonite from a lesser-known location.


About These Specimens from the Mésage Mine

The Mésage Mine was originally explored in the early-nineteenth century for iron, and the underground workings have been abandoned since the late-nineteenth century. French collector Grégoire de Bodinat recently collected these beautiful specimens at the Mésage Mine.
