Description

An aesthetic plate of deep purple octahedral fluorite crystals, on and in white quartz. These fluorite crystals are sharp, with good purple colour. This specimen is in exceptional condition – perfect, with a tiny bit of incomplete fluorite at one edge. Formerly in the collection of John White (a collection label will be included with the piece).

As is often the case with fluorite, the hue varies with light source. Under LED and in daylight, it is a colder hue of purple, and under halogen it is a warmer, more violet hue.
