Description
A specimen of well-crystallized goethite from one of the world’s best localities for goethite crystals. The main group of radiating crystals attaches to peripheral mushroom-shaped aggregates of goethite crystals. The central goethite crystals are sharp and lustrous. In very good condition for one of these, with a few incomplete crystals and rubs. From the collection of Canadian collector Gil Benoit, this is a classic Lake George District goethite.
