Description
A radiating group of natrolite crystals is perched at the top of this piece, and the natrolite cluster complete all-around. This one is unusual for Cape Split, as the individial crystals are uncommonly large and distinct. The natrolite crystals have sharp, lustrous pyramidal terminations. Asssociated minerals: the base of the specimen are stilbite crystals (contacted, incomplete), and around one side there are a couple of small, sharp gmelinite crystals (last photo), uncommon for Cape Split. In excellent condition, and stands perfectly for display as photographed. A great-looking Nova Scotia natrolite.
