Description
This is a pretty specimen of prehnite balls. The appear almost as if they were beads strung together, just because a few of the bals are quite distinct and separated from their neighbours. These prehnites have good silky lustre (they are not the more common matte ones) and a pleasant green colour. The crystal texture on the surface of the balls is readily apparent under magnification. Stands perfectly for display as photographed – a very nice piece!
