Description

This specimen features brilliant, super-sharp hematite crystals to 1.4 cm with clear quartz crystals. The hematite crystals are thin, but not paper-thin – you can see from the photos the additional crystal faces on these. The hematite crystals are in excellent condition – you can find one missing hematite (and some incomplete crystals at the edges) – and a couple of missing quartz tips, all minor relative to the size of this piece. A great alpine hematite from an unusual locality!
