Description
This amethyst crystal features several radial inclusions of cristobalite. The amethyst itself is primarily a termination, with the remainder being bounded by angular, tapering striated contact faces. In good condition, minor chipping. The cristobalite inclusions are quite flat in aspect – the large one is very thin. With magnification the smaller ones really look like jellyfish. An interesting inclusions specimen from the John S. White quartz collection.
