Description
A landscape covered with a crown of beautiful slender, transparent quartz crystals. The crystal morphology on these crystals is very distinctive – instead of the more usual six faces at the termination, there are three. The crystals are sharp and lustrous and radiate upward from a base of a sparkly micaceous mineral, I assume cookeite but it has not been analyzed. In excellent condition, a beautiful display piece from the Gerald Panneton collection.
