Description
A beautiful chalcedony with a texture that sure appears to be a pseudomorph. In fact the centre of each of these pillars is hollow, so it is likely that this specimen is an epimorph after a mineral that has subsequently dissolved. A super piece from the John S. White collection (no. 24-2-3)(label included).
Please Note: the colour representation in the still photographs has been carefully calibrated and adjusted to show an accurate rendition of this specimen in daylight (shade). The colours in the video are not similarly adjusted.
