John S. White Collection – March 2022
Posted by: Raymond McDougall on 03.16.2022 | Filed under: Latest, Recent Mineral Updates

I’ve added excellent new specimens from the John S. White collection (click here). The theme of this update began as quartz with inclusions, but there are specimens exhibiting other phenomena as well – phantoms, zoning, selective deposition. In some cases, the additional mineral is truly the feature – indeed, a few of these specimens might better be characterized as rutile with quartz. There are also wonderful specimens with hematite, tourmaline, and more.
