I’ve posted a small number of beautiful atacamite specimens in this new Peru Atacamite Update (click here). These are sharp, lustrous, terminated atacamite crystals in vugs, from the Lily Mine, near Pisco, Ica. Many of the smaller crystals are transparent and intense green. One piece in the Update features a water-clear selenite crystal perched on perfect atacamite crystals. Other minerals in the update include quartz-covered chrysocolla, malachite on quartz and a green quartz (with dioptase inclusions).
