I have posted great new specimens from the John S. White Collection – Virginia & Maryland suite. These include superb apophyllites from the famous finds at the Fairfax Quarry, and also many more interesting pieces: apophyllite, prehnite and datolite from the Virginia trap rock quarries; and more unusual finds such as Virginia pyromorphite and Maryland gold.
I’ve posted a great selection of U.S. specimens from many different collections in the new US Update. There are specimens from the collections of Rock Currier, Robert Bartsch, John S. White, Pete Richards, Steve Szilard and from my collection too.
I’ve added beautiful new specimens from the Pete Richards collection. These are great tourmaline crystals from localities around the world, including Brazil, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Namibia and Myanmar.
I’ve posted some beautiful specimens in the new Brazil Update. These include gorgeous spessartine crystals (one from a rare locality), dravite crystals, blue topaz, rutile and hematite roses, among others.
I’ve added some great new specimens in this latest update from the Steve Szilard Collection. These are beautiful pieces from around the world.
I’ve posted some great new specimens from Tanzania, including excellent alabandite crystals (very large for the species), a beautiful sharp corundum (ruby) crystal, a super twinned orange kyanite, dravite tourmalines, scapolite, spinel and prehnite.
This Dravite Tourmaline Update is a group of super crystals from Serra Branca, Rio Grande do Norte – an older find just coming to light for the first time. Sharp and lustrous, these crystals show textbook form and many look like crystal models.
