From a recent visit, I’ve posted some of my favourite specimens from the fabulous Mineralogy Museum at L’École des Mines de Paris.
I’ve posted great new specimens in this Arizona Update. Beautiful specimens of hemimorphite, smithsonite and aurichalcite from the famous 79 Mine, along with Rowley Mine wulfenite, Planet Mine chrysocolla, Bisbee and more.
I’ve added great new specimens to the website in this Mexico Update. The update includes several mineral species for which Mexico is famous, including adamite, austinite, wulfenite, danburite and datolite.
I’ve added new specimens in this new Worldwide Update, including specimens from the Pete Richards collection and the Steve Szilard collection. I hope you enjoy them!
I’ve posted new worldwide mineral specimens from the Gerald Panneton collection. This update features spectacular pieces, some of which are right up with the best I’ve offered on the website.
I’ve posted a great selection of U.S. specimens from many different collections in the new US Update. There are specimens from the collections of Rock Currier, Robert Bartsch, John S. White, Pete Richards, Steve Szilard and from my collection too.
I’ve added great specimens from the Pete Richards collection, from localities around the world, including Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico and more.
I’ve added more great U.S. specimens in this new Pete Richards Collection Update. These include beautiful specimens from classic American localities from across the country.
I’ve posted the fourth in a series of updates with superb specimens from John White’s collection.
The Rochester Mineralogical Symposium is one of the best mineral events of the year. Here’s my report from RMS 2019, with lots of great mineral photos.
I’ve posted a small number of specimens in this Morocco Update. From a recent find at Mibladen, there are vibrant orange wulfenite crystals – the colour of these crystals is intense. I have also posted top quality blue barites from Jebel Ouichane – these are from about four years ago (this locality is no longer producing).
The Rochester Mineralogical Symposium is one of the best annual events in Mineral World. This post about RMS 2017 includes lots of great mineral photographs, with many from prominent mineral photographers Jeff Scovil and Michael Bainbridge. And hopefully, if you missed this year’s RMS, this will help you catch up – and plan for next year…
