A cluster of brilliant, lustrous fluorapophyllite crystals with transparent terminations and mirror-bright internal reflections. In excellent condition, a couple of small nicks, not at the terminations. A beautiful specimen from the Gerald Panneton collection – just glows and reflects under the lights – it’s bright!

A super, blocky, doubly-terminated fluorapophyllite crystal perched perfectly on top of a stilbite pillar. The fluorapophyllite is sharp and lustrous, with fine striations on the prism faces. Internally, the crystal is translucent to transparent, with a green zone right down the middle. The fluorapophyllite crystal is in excellent condition, no damage, and one contact on […]

A large fan of lustrous epidote crystals, with intergrown smaller fans, from Pampa Blanca. The epidote crystals are very dark green, and there are many sparkling terminations up the front of the fan. In excellent condition overall, with a few incomplete crystals. From the front (first three photos) one is viewing the largest fan and […]

A beautiful display specimen of slender, clear quartz crystals from Mundo Nuevo. The crystals are sharp and lustrous. In excellent condition – almost all crystals are complete and free of any damage, a couple of incomplete and missing crystals (the two incomplete on the right side in the first photo have crystallization patterns on the […]

This is a section of a rhodonite vein, with a bed of rhodonite crystals in a shallow recess from the Chirucu Mine (the locality is no longer producing and not expected to produce again). The lustrous, bladed rhodonite crystals are a very fine medium-pink colour, with sharp terminations and striated prism faces. In very good […]

This is a cool piece! It features a central ball of hematite blades, coated in microscopic quartz crystals, surrounded by a forest of tall quartz crystals. The hematite crystals are preserved by the quartz and are in perfect condition. The quartz crystals are coloured by iron oxide inclusions and coatings, and the second-generation quartz crystals […]

This is large, sculptural arrangement of sharp, interlocking calcite crystals with bright lustre from the Xiangualing Mine. The charcoal-grey inclusions are likely boulangerite or jamesonite (both minerals are recorded from this mine). The calcite crystals fluoresce dark red under ultraviolet light. A tough one to photograph – the calcite crystals are incredibly sharp and more […]

This is a gorgeous, large-cabinet specimen – it is an elegant cluster of interlocking calcite crystals from the Xiangualing Mine. The calcite crystals are sharp with fine striations. They glow orange under ultraviolet light. From the Gerald Panneton collection. These crystals are thin, very sharp, and in impossibly amazing condition – it is a fantastic […]

A gorgeous cabinet piece, this one is really about the two spectacular green fluorite crystals in the centre. These are stepped octahedra with large cuboctahedral growths on each octahedral corner – just super – what a killer specimen of this crystal habit! The fluorites are sharp, with good lustre, brighter on the cube faces, and […]

This is a dramatic large celestine! Spear-shaped, razor-sharp celestine crystals rise up from a bed of sparkling tiny celestine crystals. These larger crystals are light blue with brilliant lustre and are translucent to transparent. This specimen was found inside a geode and has been professionally prepped out as a stand-alone cabinet specimen. From the Gerald […]

This is a beautiful blue kyanite crystal in quartz. It has wonderful blue colour! Kyanite is a rock-forming mineral, which is found enclosed in one or more other minerals. Kyanite very rarely has perfect natural terminations and the kyanite crystals comprising this specimen have typical rugged ends, not clean terminations. From the Gerald Panneton collection, […]
