Description

A 2.7 cm garnet crystal in chlorite schist from Northern Baltimore Co., Maryland. This is a sizeable crystal from an unusual locality. It is a dodecahedron, and the surface textures show interaction with the hosting schist. A neat locality specimen from the John S. White collection (catalogue # 32.1.1).
