Description

This piece features a well-formed dodecahedral almandine crystal in chlorite schist. It has good lustre and a dark red (warmish-red) colour. In excellent condition, minor edge imperfections. A fine Maryland garnet specimen from the John S. White collection (catalogue # 4.5.2).
