Description
A group of bladed, razor-sharp, glassy crystals of axinite-(Fe), this is the finest specimen I’ve seen from the relatively small 2015 find at Dal’negorsk. The crystals are rich brown and translucent, with high lustre. In remarkable condition – no damage to the eye from the display side. One chip on the back of the specimen (third photo), and minute chipping can be found with magnification if you seek it out. This is a top-quality axinite.
