Description

If you could imagine your ideal miniature tabular aquamarine specimen, I’m not sure what it would look like. Mine looks something like this one! This is an amazing crystal, perched perfectly with a little matrix of albite and muscovite. The aquamarine is in perfect condition and has wonderful crystal faces. It is terminated on the far side as well, to the extent the matrix allowed. The crystal is the most delicate of pale blue (verges on goshenite rather than aquamarine) – it is transparent with wispy inclusions and a few internal fractures giving a great internal sparkle and play of light. Wonderful specimen!
