This is a gorgeous Irai calcite – it really stands out. There are two generations of calcite crystals – the larger first generation crystals have phantoms, while the second generation crystals are smaller, perched around and on the bases of the first generation crystals. It is a dramatic specimen, with great proportions. Glows orange under UV light (fourth photo). In excellent condition, no damage. A wonderful specimen from the Steve Szilard collection.
