Description

A sharp twinned golden calcite crystal on a thin plate of small calcite crystals. The main crystal (3.9 cm) is lustrous – truly glossy, with many brilliant striations. Although the twinning is quite subtle, the composition plane is clearly visible.  In excellent condition, with three edge chips. A beautiful calcite twin from the John S. White Pennsylvania Collection, originally collected by Skip Colflesh.
