Description

A blocky celestine crystal from John Medici, to Pete Richards (April 7, 1988). John collected this crystal at the bottom of a large pocket, where the crystals were thick and had sand inclusions, as this one does. This crystal stands out however, because it has a sharp, lustrous blue cap on one face of the termination. The crystal is almost fully doubly-terminated, although contacts interrupt the bottom termination. In very good condition (minor chips), a unique and cool blue-cap Ohio celestine!
