Description
This piece features a 3.1 cm sharp, lustrous chabazite crystal, large for the species. The main crystal is accompanied by smaller ones, and in each chabazite crystal there is some colour variation/zoning. The predominant colour is a dark orange colour that would often be described as “brick red”, and then there are lighter translucent zones that range into somewhat golden hues. In excellent condition, no damage to the main crystal, and some incomplete crystals around the periphery where this was originally attached within the vug. Collected in 2007. A super chabazite.
