Detailed Description
Sharp, lustrous chabazite crystals clustered together and associated with sugary white quartz. The chabazite crystals are a relatively brick-orange-red hue, but if you look closely you can see that a couple have honey-yellow zones. In excellent condition and stands perfectly for display as photographed. Very nice!

About The Chabazites From Wasson’s Bluff
Wasson’s Bluff is world famous for colourful chabazite crystals, ranging in colour from pinks to various hues of orange and all the way to dark red. The chabazites from Wasson’s Bluff have been collected since the mid-19th century, and production of truly fine specimens has been sporadic. Although several of the productive zones have been exhausted as the basalt has eroded away to the underlying sandstone, occasional finds have produced excellent specimens.
Please Note: the colour representation in the still photographs has been carefully calibrated and adjusted to approximate an accurate rendition of this specimen in daylight (shade). The colours in the video are not similarly adjusted.
