Description

This piece from the mica quarry at Black Mountain, Maine hosts sharp parallel bladed crystals of columbite in feldspar-quartz. The crystals are lustrous with nice contrast with the matrix. The complete crystals are in very good shape with minor chips. There is a partial columbite present as well. From the Pete Richards collection, he personally collected it in August, 1988.
