Copper

Specimen # 101143
Mineral: Copper
Location: Bennet Brook (Colonial Copper Mine), Cap D'Or, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 4.3 x 2.5 x 0.3 cm

Description

This is a beautiful specimen of well defined, branching copper crystals – these crystals are exceptionally sharp Nova Scotia copper. The crystals show twinning and have some cuprite coating in places. This piece was collected by Terry Collett in 2010 and has been in my collection since then. (It is still mounted on Terry’s original stand for it.) A gorgeous piece.
