Coronadite

Specimen # 100852
Mineral: Coronadite
Location: Coronadite, Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia
Size: 4.9 x 4.2 x 3.4 cm

Description

A classic botryoidal coronadite, with dark grey metallic lustre. From the collection of Milton Lavers, with an old number still affixed underneath. The main “stalactite” is in excellent condition (others are incomplete). It would be hard to say this specimen doesn’t have character… Very good quality specimen of a mineral not commonly seen in fine specimens.
