Description

This piece features a vug containing beautiful rosettes of irridescent, metallic covellite crystals from the classic locality at Summitville. These crystals are metallic blue. While covellite is incredibly fragile and specimens are usually incomplete, these crytals are in remarkable condition, as they are protected, nestled in the vug (under magnification they have almost no chipping, incredible for covellite). Each of the rosettes is 0.7 cm across.
