Description

This is a plate of beautiful sharp, glassy datolite crystals up to 1.2 cm. The crystals are sprinkled with a sparse coating of microscopic datolite, giving sparkle like a morning frost in the fall. Fresh light green colour. In excellent condition – no damage other than a couple of spots near the periphery – inconsequential. A couple of tetrahedrite-coated chalcopyrites are perched on the datolites. This is a very pretty datolite specimen.
