Description

This is a very pretty specimen, with light green datolite crystals covered by a cloak of tiny calcite crystals (the whole backside is covered in calcite. The datolite crystals are sharp, with nice separation, lots of exposed crystal faces – some bright lustre and some good lustre, not frosted. In very good condition overall – most crystals are in excellent condition and three are chipped (two in the centre – standing as photographed, these chips don’t reflect the overhead display lighting to stand them out.) Stands perfectly for display as photographed.  It’s such a nice group of datolite crystals – a great price for what it is.
