Description

This is a striking diopside specimen from Sar-e-Sang. A beautiful dark forest-green crystal is enclosed in light cream- and tan-coloured marble. It is an elegant parallel-growth crystal measuring 2.2 cm tall and is dark in appearance without stronger lighting – under the light it has great dark green colour and you can see a little transparency at the top termination. No damage. The lustre is very high-gloss. This is an exceptional diopside miniature!
