Description

This is from the classic locality known from the 1850s for brilliant black tourmaline. The piece features a very lustrous 2.1 cm dravite crystal on matrix. It is a sharp crystal with minor surface texture and it is in excellent condition overall, with one chipped corner. The smaller associated dravite is incomplete. The piece has a saw cut on the back (where the matrix was reduced). This specimen looks absolutely great with the isolated  main crystal at upper left of the matrix as photographed in the first shot.
