Description

For me, the highlight of this crystal of elbaite tourmaline is its beautiful termination, with sharp, lustrous faces. The colours rank a close second – the top half of the crystal is a rich green, while the bottom half is a delicate pink. The crystal is a watermelon tourmaline, so the pink is slightly tinted by the very thin green outer layer. In excellent condition – to the eye it is in super shape, some minor edge rubs can be seen (and upon examination with magnification one can see minor edge chipping).

This is a beautiful elbaite crystal in this size.
