Description
This doubly-terminated green elbaite is associated with bright albite crystals. The elbaite crystal is sharp and lustrous, including at the top termination (the bottom termination is more composite, and actually had nice lustre too, just not as obvious). It is colour zoned, from a cold hue of green at the top, to a dark olive green, and then a light green and almost colourless at the bottom termination. In excellent condition. The back corner of the top termination has a bit of albite attached, and is not damaged. Stands perfectly for display as photograhped.Great contrast between the sparkly snowy white albite and the dark striated tourmaline crystal.
