Description
This specimen hosts super ice-like fluorite crystals perched on calcite. The fluorite crystals are sharp with great lustre, exhibiting primarily dodecahedral and cubic faces, with a couple of octahedral faces also visible. The cubic faces are like glass, and through them, one can see the crystals are water-clear (this is true of some of the dodecahedral faces too, although some have growth features that make them comparatively a little less like windows into the centres of these crystals).
In excellent condition. The lower outside edge of the left-hand crystal is contacted, and out of view, displayed as photographed, and a couple of smaller crystals are incomplete. Stands perfectly for display as photographed.
These are beautiful fluorite crystals!
