Description
This is a nice group of Illinois fluorite crystals with honey-yellow cores and outer zones of bluish-purple to deep purple. The crystals are sharp and lustrous with beautiful surface growth features. A few chalcopyrite crystals are present as inclusions within the fluorite, and a few are perched upon the fluorite crystals. In good condition overall, one crystal has a cleaved corner and other small chips are present. This piece from the Tracy Kimmel Collection has beautiful colour, zoning and lustre!
