Description
This is one of the most beautiful fluorite specimens I have ever had the privilege to own. The fluorite crystal has textbook perfection, as if it was faceted. It is transparent and combines the forms of cube, octahedron and dodecahedron almost equally. It is nestled at the intersection of three dark-tipped sceptered quartz crystals. In exceptional condition, no damage. (I actually had to pay quite a lot for it myself, but I could not live without the opportunity of photographing it!) This specimen’s photograph appears in the Mineralogical Record, September-October 2014 Vol. 45:5, 552.
A connoisseur-level specimen, this is truly an exquisite, unique piece.
