Description
A group of very sharp, highly lustrous gersdorffite crystals, from the locality that has produced the world’s finest. Most specimens from this deposit are badly damaged, in part because there was a period of fracturing after the gersdorffite was deposited, and the crystals are extracted by dissolving surrounding calcite – when one does that, many crystals fall apart. This one is in really great condition for this material – there are missing tips in places, but minor relative to the piece overall. This is very high quality for gersdorffite, it’s a beauty.
