Description
A group of beautiful sparkling gmelinite crystals sits upon a dark basalt host, giving great contrast. The gmelinite crystals are sharp and lustrous, and are up to 0.7 cm. With a little magnification, you can see that some of the crystals have very interesting growth hollows. In excellent condition – no damage except some missing crystals in places on the periophery where this was adjoined to the surrounding rock. Collected in 2011, this is a pretty piece.
