This is an exquisite thumbnail-sized gmelinite specimen, with crystals to 1.7 cm. The crystals are glassy and lustrous, and it’s hard to imagine a more artful arrangement. It’s beautiful in more than one orientation. The crystal faces have the crisp triangular surface patterns characteristic of Nova Scotia gmelinites. In excellent condition – no damage. Gorgeous.
