Description
A beautiful specimen of “needle ore” hematite (also sometimes referred to as “pencil ore”). This specimen has excellent columnar structure, aesthetic curvature and form, nice varying lustre and a highly lustrous top, showing a very fine “kidney ore”-type appearance. From the Tracy Kimmel Collection, an American classic from the Montreal Mine!
Please Note: the colour representation in the still photographs has been carefully calibrated and adjusted to show an accurate rendition of this specimen in daylight (shade). The colours in the video are not similarly adjusted.
