Description

A beautiful specimen of this classic material – mimetite of the variety campylite from the Dry Gill Mine. This piece features gorgeous glossy translucent orange crystals, so lustrous that they look wet. With magnification, one can easily see the sharp, barrel-shaped, curved forms of the mimetite crystals. In excellent condition. From the Tracy Kimmel collection – she acquired it from John Betts, whose label accompanies it. This is a really classy campylite!
