Olivenite

Specimen # 103193
Mineral: Olivenite
Location: Carissa Mine, Tintic District, Juab Co., Utah, USA
Size: 8.0 x 6.0 x 4.5 cm

Description

This specimen hosts radiating balls of beautiful green olivenite crystals. From the Tracy Kimmel collection, this specimen was in the Miller collection and dates to about 1900. Tracy acquired this specimen from John Betts (specimen #44510) and both this label and the Miller label accompany the specimen. A great American classic!
