Location: Huanzala Mine, Huallanca District, Dos De Mayo Province, Huanuco, Peru
Size: 5.8 x 4.0 x 2.9 cm

Description

These are complex pyrite crystals! They are sharp and lustrous, with many forms present. From the Pete Richards collection, his description of the forms present is as follows: {2 1 0}, {1 0 0}, {4 3 0}, {1 1 1}, {2 1 1}, {2 2 1}, and often {6 5 0}, {8 7 0}, {10 9 0}, {1 1 0} and {11 10 0}. In excellent condition, minor incomplete crystals at the periphery. A great specimen for its complex crystal modifications.
