Size: 7.2 x 6.6 x 2.0 cm

Description

This specimen features a sharp, lustrous 2.7 cm pyrite crystal in phyllite, collected by Herb Corbett in 1968. It’s a figured piece, in Rocks & Minerals Vol. 87, No. 2: 181, in John White’s very first Mineral Mysteries column. The crystal has been reattached to the phyllite. It’s in excellent condition, with chips on the back. From the John S. White Pennsylvania Collection.
