Description

This piece of quartz has been cut and polished to highlight the beautiful hematite inclusions it contains. The inclusions are mostly highly elongated silvery black needle-like growths, and some have transparent red platy crystals in association – they look awesome under magnification. The amethystine zone at the bottom adds nice purple to this piece from the John S. White quartz collection.
