Description
This piece features slender, delicate pale lavender amethyst crystals rising up from a plate of smaller jumbled crystals. These amethyst crystals are quite curious and complex, under magnification – each exhibiting the faces of more than one individual. They appear intergrown, almost as if twinned (although there is no twinning law to account for it – they are certainly not twinned, rather, some type of parallel growth). In excellent condition, no damage. A beautiful specimen from the John S. White collection.
