Description
A great rutile star. It has all six “arms”, with rutile crystals oriented in each of the six 60-degree directions, epitactic on the central hematite crystal. Of the two styles of rutile crystals from Novo Horizonte, these are the more robust ones, are not the fuzzy-hairy type. In excellent condition, with particularly bright lustre. This is a beautiful specimen.
