Description

This piece features a sharp, 2.0 cm twinned crystal of sphalerite on pyrite crystals with associated sprays of glassy clear quartz crystals. The sphalerite has a thin coating of chalcopyrite on most crystal surfaces, giving it a velvety gold metallic sheen. In excellent condition – minor chipping. The crystal form is textbook, with the twinning clearly apparent. A super, aesthetic sphalerite.
