Description

This cluster of twinned sphalerite crystals is covered with a thin veneer of chalcopyrite, giving the sphalerite a beautiful metallic gold appearance. The sphalerite crystal forms are so well defined that they are striking. There is minor orpiment in association, along with some small, bright pyrite crystals. In excellent condition – minor chipping and faint edge wear visible with magnification. An aesthetic, distinctive sphalerite specimen.
